Featuring Infinity hubs, ID360 freewheel and Maxtal welded rims, this modern XC wheel lives up to the legendary Crossmax name: strong, reliable, and tubeless ready. The name Crossmax has a long history in the world of XC riding and racing and this new wheelset lives up to its name with many of the same features and technologies as pro-level XC race wheels, but at a far more attainable price. One of the key factors is our UST technology, which allows for easy setup of tubeless ready tires and gives you all the associated benefits including better traction and control, a smoother ride quality and a reduced risk of punctures. The rim is welded for added reliability and features a 25mm internal width with a hookless profile. The Infinity hub design optimizes lateral stiffness and spokes tension. Our Instant Drive 360 freewheel with a double ratchet system provides fast engagement and top-level reliability. The rear hub is compatible with Shimano HG9, Micro Spline and SRAM XD driver bodies. The Crossmax is available with 6-bolt or center lock brake mounts in 29" and 27", in Boost and non-Boost options. The wheel is delivered with valves, replacement spokes and accessories.

It represents the highest quality aluminum trail wheel we've ever built. The rims are made with our patented Fore technology, which features a fully sealed upper bridge that eliminates the need for rim tape. That saves 30 grams per wheel and does away with the hassle of using tape to set up tubeless tires. The rim has a 30mm internal width, perfect for optimizing the performance of any modern trail tire. It's engineered with a super strong triangular shape, designed specifically to absorb impacts from the trail. Our Black Shield technology gives them a distinctive finish that protects against scratches and abrasions. We use 24 straight-pull spokes to further dial in the sweet spot between lateral stiffness and vertical compliance. The Infinity hubs feature a stiffer and lighter construction that's enhanced by the ultra-reliable ID360 double ratchet system for fast engagement. The wheelset is set up for 6-bolt or center lock disc mounts and is compatible with Shimano HG9, SRAM XD, and Micro Spline freewheel bodies. It's available in either 27.5" or 29" and ships with UST tubeless valves, spare spokes and accessories.

The BA30 is a quality alloy rim designed to withstand a real beating. This is the rim for high-impact riding when the trails are rough and rugged. With an internal bracing structure, the BA30 has torsional stiffness for directional control in demanding circumstances. The BA30 features a thick bead wall adjacent the tire to resist impact deformation, with a wider, rounded top-edge to reduce sidewall cuts. The nipple/spoke bed is oriented to the spoke direction to reduce weakness caused by bend in the spoke at the nipple hole. The BA30 is made with premium alloy, extruded with an internal brace profile and carefully formed for consistent shape. It is then fusion welded and ground for a strong precise finish. Our fusion welding system leaves a perfect seamless joint that becomes the strongest section of the rim ensuring that your rim won’t split if you impact at the seam. The rims are laced to our new R4 hub. The R4 is designed to be a solid, reliable hub with a durable axle assembly and robust set of bearings. We're using a tried and tested 4-pawl arrangement with 36 points of simultaneous engagement. What sets it apart is the large radius that the pawls are positioned on, reducing leverage at the point of engagement. We opted for a Chromoly steel axle for stiffness and longevity. Using steel allows a smaller diameter axle which in turn gives us more room to use larger, sealed bearings (we use USA made enduro bearings). The rear axle assembly uses thread-on end caps which are easy to service and resist compression from the frames axle (they don’t fall off during trailside repairs either!). R4 front hubs are available with standard or ‘torque’ end caps and rear hubs are available with XD, HG, or Microspline drivers. We supply all parts for servicing to ensure that R4 hubs can be maintained well into the future!
