Zipp's Tangente Cork Brake Pads are perfect for Zipp wheels with carbon braking surfaces. They are made of a composite cork polymer for consistent brake response and to reduce glazing from the intense heat caused by braking on carbon. As a result, the Tangente cork pads avoid the brake pulsation produced by residue buildup from rubber pads and can even eliminate pulsation from rims with previous buildup. These pads have a unique shape with more material in the front to improve durability and shed water. Although the composite material wears similarly to low-temperature rubber compounds, the Tangente cork pads last longer than most rubber carbon-specific pads because of the shape and 0.5 mm greater overall thickness.

We did our homework on this cog and we think you will be pleased with the result! This 16t cog smooths out the cog to cog transition when using our GC and a standard 10 speed 11-36 cassette. You should expect this to shift well and last as long as the rest of your cassette cogs of similar size. Here are the transitions WITHOUT the 16t cog (4 tooth max jump): - Remove the 15t -> 11-13-17-19.... - Remove the 17t -> 11-13-15-19... Here are the transitions WITH the 16t cog (3 tooth max jump): - Remove 15t & 17t-> 11-13-16-19... ShiftMounts are adapter mounts that allow you to integrate SRAM and Shimano shifters with several different brakes from Shimano, SRAM, and Magura, or mount shifters directly to handlebars independent of brakes. Handlebar space is prime real estate and the ShiftMount seamlessly integrates brakes and shifters for a clean look. - MM-ISEV is for a SRAM MatchMaker shifter mounting to a Shimano I-SPEC EV brake - Designed to work with rear (right side) brakes and shifters. - Consult the brake and shifter manufacturers to understand which mounting interface you have on your brakes and shifters. - MM-ISEV is compatible with M9100, M9120, M8100, and M7100 Brakes. Deore M6100 or M4100 brakes will mount but the positioning is not optimal so we would consider them not compatible. - MM-ISEV, MM-ISII, & MM-MAG: while they will technically mount to a Sram AXS shifter pod, we do not recommend it. This ingenious device allows you to get back home should you break your hanger out on the road or trail. Simply remove your broken hanger, derailleur and QR skewer nut. Put the QR skewer through the Emergency Hanger, remove the spring and re-attach the nut. Secure the QR nut and skewer down tightly. Re-attach the derailleur and away you go! In most cases you should have the ability to shift throughout half (or more!) of your rear cassette range.
