With the steps E-8000 series, Shimano delivers next-level component integration, connectivity, and performance. To meet MTB specific needs, the E-8000 series was designed with all day riding in mind. The Lithium-Ion battery has a 500WH capacity that can be charged up to 80% in only 2.5 hours. It features a low-profile drive system, specifically designed for mountain bikes, which improves both impact and vibration resistance. The compact design allows for shorter chain stays and more tire clearance, and its low weight substantially improves handling and ride feel. You can switch between 3 assist modes: ECO, TRAIL, and BOOST, using levers that were designed for mountain bikes to offer a similar feel to that of a gear shifter.

The Genius eRide 920 pairs an electric assist motor with a durable alloy frame, then adds a number of performance features. A tapered headtube adds front-end stiffness, boost spacing yields stronger wheels, and internal cable routing creates a clean look. 150mm of front and rear suspension make this bike ready to for serious shredding. The Fox 36 Rhythm fork and Fox Float Evol rear shock both offer 3 modes with a remote switch for quickly adjusting to varying trail conditions. A SRAM NX Eagle drivetrain delivers quick, accurate shifting, while Shimano BR-MT520 hydraulic disc brakes dish out the stopping power when you need it. The wheels feature Syncros X-30S rims mounted to Shimano hubs for a strong, light, and tubeless-ready wheelset. The Schwalbe plus-size tires have large, widely-spaced blocky tread which suits them for aggressive trail riding, plus Addix compound for extra grip.
