Join us at Oak Bay Bikes for a relaxed, no-pressure Road Bike Demo Day – your chance to test ride the Trek Domane SL 5, a smooth, fast, carbon road bike built for real-world comfort and performance. Whether you're thinking about your next upgrade or just curious to see what carbon feels like on the road, this is the perfect opportunity to take one for a proper spin.

What to Expect
We'll have a tent set up in the Oak Bay Bikes carpark with demo bikes ready to go. Each booking includes up to 2 hours of ride time – take the bike out on your own route and see how it handles in the real world.
- Choose your time slot: 9:30 AM, 12:00 PM, or 2:30 PM
- Arrive 15 minutes early so we can get you set up
- Bring your preferred pedals if you have them – otherwise, we’ll have flat pedals available
- Helmet and valid ID are required
The Bike
The Domane SL 5 is ready to comfortably take on rough roads and long miles in comfort. The lightweight 500 Series OCLV Carbon frame has rear IsoSpeed to smooth out bumps in the road and reduce fatigue, and an integrated cockpit for a set-up that looks as good as it feels. It features a reliable Shimano 105 drivetrain, and an easy-access internal storage compartment for stowing ride essentials. Plus, lofty 38 mm tyre clearance lets you take on any road from tarmac to light gravel.

Demo Disclaimer
1. You must sign a waiver before you rent a bike from us.
2. You must be 19 years of age or older to rent a bike.
3. You are responsible for the bike if it gets stolen.
4. You are responsible for any damage that may occur to the bike. We do a thorough check-over when the bike goes out and again when it comes back in.
5. You must obey all applicable laws while riding our bikes. This means you must wear a helmet.
