For almost as long as Canadians have been riding bikes, Norco has been making them. Over the past four decades, Norco has been reinventing how Canadians look at bikes and how they ride them. In order to keep ahead of the pack, we draw on the knowledge of their factory team, staff riders, and design team to create bikes that we simply love to sell and ride.

Ridley

Ridley Bicycles was founded in 1990. Through innovative technical and graphic design, Ridley quickly became the leading manufacturer in Belgium. In the early years, Ridley became known for supporting local grass roots teams and riders in Belgium, including a young Tom Boonen when he won the Belgian U23 championship in 2001.

Now, in 2008 Ridley offers a complete range of bicycles for every type of rider, including 5 complete carbon frames - 4 of which are used by professional teams.

Specialized

Specialized was founded in 1974 with the simple guiding principle that if the company focused on a rider's need for functional and technically advanced cycling equipment that provided real performance benefits, it would be successful.

Over three decades later, there are many more ways to ride, but the same founding principle is still the beating heart of the company.

We've stocked 7 brands of 29ers over the last 1/2 dozen years and see these as the collection of the Mountain Bike. Niner is completely dedicated to this evolution and hence is a leader in both hardtail and FS designs.

Our local bike shops have felt a lack of 'real' products aimed at the everyday cyclist and have pitched their ideas at us. Here at Oak Bay Bikes we thrive on building custom bicycles. This is not your typical bike shop we do things a little differently here. We build unique bikes suited specifically to our customer's specifications. Each bike is designed and built on it's own, one at a time. With our customer's consultation we arrive at frame, select the components and wheel set that works for you. In the end, you have the bike that suits your specific needs.

Due to our bicycles’ overall appearance and weight we believe our assisted bicycle will become an essential tool for everyday living, just like air conditioning in a vehicle.
